The Red Admiral or Vanessa atalanta is a butterfly from the nymphalidae family, found in temperate regions of Europe, Asia and North America. With a wingspan of between 55 and 65 millimeters, this species migrates to more pleasant places during the cold, reaching more than 2,000 km in search of an environment that offers better conditions for survival.
